Delegates
Members in schools are represented by a number of committees. The most important is the Schools Departmental Committee which represents all administrative and support staff and general assistants.
Then there are vocational committees for General Assistants, Teachers Aides (Special), etc. And there are special purpose committees, often called steering committees, such as the School Assistants Steering Committee which is working on the review of the school assistants' work and the Aboriginal Education Assistants Steering Committee which is being set up to oversee the development of an AEA's award.
