NEW SASS AWARD JANUARY 2005

Justice Walton of the NSW Industrial Relations Commission made a new award for School Administrative and Support Staff Award on Friday, 21st January, 2005.

The new award is attached below as a pdf document that can be downloaded.

The award ratifies new pay rates and classification titles for School Administrative Managers and School Administrative Officers. A new classification of School Support Officer was introduced.

Flexible working hour arrangements have been improved under the award and new hours of work for school administrative managers have been approved.

The new pay rates have been already paid administratively.

The new hours of work and flexible working hours provisions come into effect on day 1 term 1.

Note: The attached award does not include the 4 percent pay increase arising from the Public Sector Salaries Case. Those up-to-date rates are included in the item SASS PAY RATES JANUARY 2005.
