Change Media/Pluto Press and the Evatt Foundation. Sponsoring

The conference will deal with one of the most important issues
facing Australia today - Globalisation. It will asses the
implications of this epoch-breaking phenomenon, assess the impact
of the Asian crisis on Australia and focus on an agenda for
securing jobs and infrastructure.
The conference has been designed to promote discussion and
debate. The unique format allows for over five hours of
structured discussion time, allowing maximum time for participant
involvement and debate on the issues raised by the speaker panel.
