Special Case -- Psychologists

The Psychologists Branch Committee met last night (June 2) to consider the offer regarding their special case.

The offer is that they stay in the "Public Sector Salaries Award", i.e. they get the 16% in pay rises available under the award.

Then, within a month the employer will make an offer based on the proposed new classification structure. It is then envisaged that negotiations will be completed within three months.

The offer will cover psychologists "whereever employed".
