Wollongong University pay rise agreed in principle General staff at Wollongong Universtiy have voted to accept in principle a new pay agreement. There are a few loose ends to tidy up but the main features are: Agreement runs until March 1999; 6 percent backdated to 4 December 1996; 1 percent from 1 September 1997; 4 percent from 1 January 1998; No trade offs; Trial of new flexible hours system, allowing for banking of more hours and a wider span of hours.
