ACTU Leaflets & Factsheets, June 2007

The ACTU has produced two new leaflets and four factsheets for the next stage of the Rights @ Work campaign.

The first leaflet, Who is best able to protect your rights at work? is a simple A4 flyer focusing on the IR policy differences between Labor and the Government.

The second is based on the ACTU Sitting Duck TV advert which highlights the many situations in which workers can be affected by the Government's IR laws.

These leaflets are for general distribution. We will be getting a supply for members and friends who are actively campaigning. They will take 2-3 weeks to come in, but you can send your orders to me whenever you wish.

The four factsheets are more detailed comparisons of Labor and government policies. They are:

• Unfair dismissal: A clear choice
• AWA individual contracts abolished: Collective bargaining rights for workers
• Fair Work Australia: A new independent industrial umpire
• A robust new safety net: The legislated national employment standards
