Candidates invited to Mollymook’s public forum on WorkChoices

With the State election fast approaching, the Milton Ulladulla Rights at Work committee is hosting a public forum to be held at the:

This will be an opportunity for people in the local community to find out what is the view of both Federal and State candidates on the WorkChoices Legislation. All candidates have been invited to present their views on the legislation, and answer questions raised by those present.

The forum will also coincide with Unions NSW's Bus tour. Unions NSW Secretary John Robertson will be one of the speakers.

Prior to the forum, Unions NSW will launch their Community Endorsed Fair Employer Scheme in the Milton/Ulladulla area. The Fair Employers Scheme recognises local employers who have maintained pre-WorkChoices pay and conditions for their staff.

The Fair Employer Scheme is an initiative of Milton Ulladulla Rights at Work committee which Unions NSW has adopted state-wide.

The Milton-Ulladulla Rights @ Work group meets in the Milton Public School staff room. 7.30 pm, 1st Tuesday each month.
