PSA Job Cuts Campaign – Country Briefings

From November 1 there will be members’ meetings around country NSW as part of the PSA’s Job Cuts = Service Cuts campaign.

Members will be briefed by members of the PSA Executive - President Sue Walsh & General Secretary John Cahill at some meetings, and Assistant General Secretaries Steve Turner & Shane O'Brien at the others.

The briefings will deal with our work to oppose the Government's current round of cuts as well as to knock on the head the Coalition's plan to axe 29,000 jobs.

A large part of the campaign is a media campaign directed at the public aimed at reinforcing the theme "Job Cuts = Service Cuts". We want proper funding and staffing of services to be among the priority issues at the NSW elections in March.
