Venues for November 30 Day of Action

Attached is the list of venues for the November 30 National Day of Union & Community Action in support of your rights at work.

Members and friends in the Sydney area are encouraged to go to one of the Sydney CBD rallies.

The CBD venues are at Belmore Park (near Central Station) and Tumbalong Park (at Darling Harbour)

People are asked to assemble from 8.30am for a 9.00am start of the Sky Channel broadcast. The broadcast will come from the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

In Sydney and some other places there will be marches after the main broadcast. Also after the main business about your rights, there will be entertainment with rock star Jimmy Barnes broadcast live from the MCG. Those marching will miss some or all of the performance - everyone else can make local arrangements to stay and enjoy.
