POVB’s JOHN CAMPBELL STEPS DOWN

POVB John Campbell is stepping down today. He has sent the following message to prison officers.

"As of today's date 21 January 2005 I will be standing down as Chairperson of the POVB State Executive.

"I have appointed Brian McCann to the position of Chairperson protem - until POVB elections in March 2005.

"Tony Howen (currently Country Vice Chair) moves to the position of Secretary protem.

"Bill Taylor, the Chair of Goulburn, will fill the position of Country Vice Chair protem.

"Paul Jones remains as Vice Chair.
