DADHC dispute report – November 22

On Thursday last week the DADHC Departmental Committee met via teleconference to discuss the Department's proposal to address the issues in dispute.

It was agreed that the threat of industrial action would not be lifted unless the Department initially agreed to fill all Level 3 vacancies.

In a report back to the Industrial Commission at 5pm on Thursday last the Department recorded its commitment to fill those vacancies.

In light of that undertaking the Departmental Committee will again meet via teleconference on Wednesday 24 November to discuss the Department's commitments, ongoing negotiations and the lifting of the threat of industrial action.

We are required to report back to the Industrial Commission on Friday 26 November.
