Change of State’s banker

The NSW Government decided in April this year that the banker for State Government Accounts would change from the ANZ to Westpac.

This will impact on PSA members in administrative roles in schools. All the back accounts they use in their financial roles will be altered and some of the work practices may also need to change as a result.

The Association has approached the Department to ensure that the Union is involved in the planning and implementation stages of this changeover to ensure our members workloads are not increased and that the transition is as painless as possible.

The DET and Westpac have now established a steering committee and a working group. PSA industrial staff and delegates will be represented on both of these committees.
