UTS Anti Bullying Campaign
Executive, 28 April 2008, EX56/08
"That Executive endorses the Union's anti bullying campaign at the University of Technology, Sydney."
The Union has received a large response from all staff at UTS to a bullying and harassment survey circulated by Union delegates and activists.
The survey is currently being collated, and the information will be used to press the University to take serious steps top address bullying, starting with signing the Dignity and Respect Charter.
The Union is also planning to host a forum on 13 May, to have as special speaker Pam Veivers, to outline the results of the survey, the next steps in the campaign, and what practical measures should adopt to deal with bullying in the meantime.
