DET: Pecuniary Interests Documentation

The DET Audit Directorate has instructed staff members below the level of Senior Officer to complete invasive and unnecessary pecuniary interests documentation.

A discussion with the Director of Audit and Risk Management did not resolve the issue and accordingly the DET Deputy Director General with responsibility for the pecuniary interest register has been advised that the PSA seeks consultation on both the policy and its application to employees below the level of Senior Officer. A reply is yet to be received.
