Planning/Heritage Office Awards and Flexible Work ArrangementsExecutive, 31 March 2008, EX26/08, EX27/08
EX25/08: "That the Executive endorse the attached award and authorise the PSA Industrial Officer to make the award at the forthcoming Section 19 Review Hearing." EX26/08: "That the Executive endorse the signing of the Flexible Working Hours Agreement which is to be attached to the award and to become part of the award conditions at the Department of Planning."
Please find attached (Attachment B) the final copy of the Crown Employees (Planning Officers) Award 2008. The new award has been negotiated following the Heritage office being abolished in 2007 and subsequent S.19 award reviews before the NSW IRC. The new award is a direct copy of the existing Crown Employees (Department of Planning) Award with some minor changes. The award shall cover our members employed within the Department of Planning and members formerly employed by the Heritage Office, which has been abolished and absorbed by the Department of Planning. Please also note the Flexible Work Agreement, which requires signing has increased the number of flex days our members may receive from 18 to 26 per year and has increased the ability to take banked flex time.
