Credit Card Trial in Schools

In 2007 the Department of Education and Training approved for schools in the Western Region trial use of a corporate credit card.

The period of the trial has now expired and assessment is currently taking place.

The PSA raised our concerns that this may increase the workload for administrative staff in these schools.

The PSA have written to all Administrative Managers in the schools that took on a credit card and asked them to let us know how they found the trial. This information will form the basis of whether we agree to the use of the corporate credit card being extended to all schools and to our further negotiations.
