WSN: PSA members win an 8% pay rise!09 September 2008United action by PSA members at WSN Environmental Solutions have won an 8% pay rise. WSN Environmental Solutions and the PSA agreed to a new two year agreement to replace the existing award. The pay rise includes an immediate 4% increase from 1 July 2008 and another 4% from 1 July 2009. All conditions of employment that were contained in the award have been retained in the new agreement. And you and your PSA membership made it happen! The PSA needs your continued support in order to negotiate effectively to improve your conditions and rights at work. In an ever changing industrial climate, your PSA membership has never been so important. This will particularly be the case in 2010 when this new agreement expires. The role, dedication and hard work of your PSA delegates, Annette Jones and Nicole Parkes in securing the pay increase is warmly acknowledged.
