Police: IRC Recommendation on GASO Positions in Local Area Commands

15 February 2008

The PSA and NSW Police Force appeared today before Justice Boland of the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW (IRC). Following discussions, Justice Boland has stated he will make a recommendation regarding this discussion on Tuesday 19 February 2008.

Accordingly the PSA directs members to refrain from signing any documentation provided by management regarding VRs and the redeployment into the GASO positions.

NSW Police Force have agreed that nobody will be disadvantaged by not lodging their documentation today.
