Dispute with RTA re Human Resources Review - Update

24 September 2007

The PSA reported back to the IRC on 24 September 2007.

PSA reported that a determination was released to the PSA and RTA staff. The PSA copy of this document is dated 12 September 2007, however it is understood that the copy received by staff was dated 6 September 2007.

PSA sought clarification of what date is the determination date and date affected officers declared displaced.

PSA now seeks urgent advice from displaced staff as to their satisfaction with the review process eg, was it two way communication. If members have issues the PSA can raise these with the RTA.

A PSA representative will contact you shortly or you may e-mail Greg Shaw (gshaw@psa.asn.au) re your concerns.

Regarding Project Officer positions, if any displaced staff are seeking redeployment to the new Project Officer positions identified in the last PSA bulletin (September 2007 - point 3), please contact the PSA.

Any further enquiries may be made to the PSA RTA Organiser on 9290 1555.
