"Periodical" No 14 - update of "One Call per fee" items

The IRC hearing resulted in a meeting with management, including HR Acting Director Employee Services was held on Monday 6/8/07, with a report back to the NSW Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) on 7/8/07.

The IRC was informed a working party will address the guidelines and as a result, the Department would continue to cautiously implement guidelines.

Delegates, PSA and management will meet on Tuesday 14/8/07 and any further necessary meetings before another report back to the IRC on 31/8/07. Management have been requested to supply an updated draft of the guidelines that address the questions supplied by SOVBAG. We will focus on the matter of guideline clarity, consistency and standardisation throughout NSW.

Continual disregard by management to implement changes without all matters being adequately discussed first, is wearing thinner each time. Reasonable time must be given to discuss any proposals so that logical and agreed resolutions result. This matter will be raised at the earliest opportunity.
