Newcastle University deficit – pledge to save jobs

Newcastle University claims it facing a deficit of $28 million. Not everyone agrees.
The CPSU/PSA has pledged to fight any job cuts by extracting the real state of the assets, reserves, liabilities, etc., and to look at alternatives to jobs cuts in order to reduce any deficit.
Attached is a CPSU/PSA bulletin on the deficit issue.
