Parental leave negotiations at the University of New England

The attached pdf bulletin details the CPSU claims on parental leave and the UNE’s response. There’s a way to go yet.
A number of the universities have agreed to improved parental leave provisions, well above the 14 weeks paid leave which union peak bodies are seeking for the workforce as a whole. Unfortunately the UNE has decided not be a leader and has offered only the 14 weeks.
